Við óskum eftir umsóknum frá lista- og fræðafólki undir 36 ára til að taka þàtt í evrópsku samstarfsverkefni þar sem samband myndlistar, náttúru og sjálfbærni verður kannað. Verkefninu er ætlað að skapa samstarfsvettvang fyrir ungt lista- og fræðafólk.
Átta aðilar verða valdir til að fara til Prag í apríl í hugmyndavinnu um gerð tímabundins útiverks eða inngrips í Kópavogi, Feneyjum og Ústí nad Orlicí í Tékklandi. Í kjölfarið verða þrjú teymi valin til að vinna að gerð útiverkanna.
Verkefnið er leitt af Sculpture Line í Tékklandi, sem er listahátíð með útilistaverkum víðsvegar um Evrópu.
Gerðarsafn og Náttúrufræðistofa Kópavogs taka þátt í verkefninu ásamt AreaCreative42 í Feneyjum og Jan Komiarek Gallery í Slóvakíu.
Umsóknarfrestur hefur verið framlengdur til 21. febrúar 2023.

Open call: Artists and academics
We are seeking applications from artists and academics under the age of 36 to take part in a European collaborative project where the relationship between art, nature and sustainability will be explored. The project is intended to create a collaboration platform for young artists and academics.
Eight people will be selected to go to Prague in April for a "hackathon" on creating a temporary outdoor work or intervention in Kópavogur, Venice and Ústí nad Orlicí in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, three teams will be selected to work on the creation of the outdoor works.
The project is led by Sculpture Line in the Czech Republic, an art festival featuring outdoor artworks all around Europe. Gerðarsafn and The Natural History Museum of Kópavogur are participating in the project together with AreaCreative42 in Venice and Jan Komiarek Gallery in Slovakia.
The application deadline is February 21, 2023.
